8 Anwendungen 2004
Ausgangspunkt sind fotografische Darstellungen medizinischer Kuranwedungen, die allgemeinem Werbe- und Informationsmaterial von Kurorten oder Kliniken entnommen sind. Es handelt sich um eine inszenierte Werbefotografie, bei der weibliche Darstellerinnen in klassizistischen Posen präsentiert werden. Die Bilder sind als klassizistische Skulpturen in den Kurpark „zurückplatziert“ und legen somit ihre Diskrepanz zur realen Kuranwendungspraxis offen.

The photographic images represent restorative therapies as promoted in literature for spa resorts and clinics. Reconfigured they portray a fictitious advertisement campaign. The displaced images, flanked by classically posed figures elevate these mundane images of spa treatments into sculptures
in public space.
