The phrase "Hier entsteht" describes that something will be buit here, in the present or in the future. It acts as an announcement for an architecture plan.
The writing made of genuine silver is applied to the old porous wall of a listed buiding. In the upcoming months a new house will be buit in the adjacent fellow land. There will only be a small gap between the exterior wall of the new buiding and the processed wall, which will be filled with a cavity filling and sealed.
The seamingly anachronistic "Hier entsteht" will gradually disappear in the gab during the construction phase until it is not visible anymore. In this way the wall and its history is united with a future promise and preserved like a precious asset for an indefinite period of time.
Spring 2020. In order to enlarge the space for the new building, the old neighouring shop of the electrical retailer Wallner has been torn down. Due to the great pause of the corona-epidemic the planned start of the construction is delayed. Meanwhile, the silver continues to oxidize and gets a copper-colered orange shining patina.
