Throwing, jumping, rushing or cheering are reflected in the towering gesture of Wilde Gate. The sports area becomes the scene of a rampant being, a hybrid being between the norm of a football goal and a fluid movement. With its morphology, it calls for a humorous body perception.
Located between the Hubertus lake and the sports field, the fox-red Wild Gate takes up the course of the fresh air corridor that leads from the Grunewald lakes over the sportareal to the centre of Berlin.
The Wild Gate with its two yellow phosphorescent undersides, becomes an eyewitness and companion to the events on the grounds. |
